Pottery is thick and looks strong but this is what happens when you use newspaper to wrap and ship Glidden Pottery......so sad.
To ship correctly use bubble wrap around each item, then separate with cardboard taped around the dishes. Use more bubble wrap or Styrofoam peanuts to keep dishes away from sides of the box, and double box if possible. Do not overload one box, split a large shipment into several separate boxes. If the box is too heavy items can shift and cause damage. Just remember even if the box has a fragile label USPS will throw it onto the truck.
