Irene brought home this very simple covered pottery baking dish. I knew right away that it was special. The thickness of the pottery, and the glazing were exceptional. Fortunately there was a name on the bottom, Glidden 165. One of the first things we do is search for information about each item we list. This can be one of the most interesting things about buying vintage. You get to discover gifted designers, companies, and fabulous objects that you may never have seen before. As soon as I saw the various designs and types of pieces I was hooked.
I found this video, and just had to share it. I love the way they are using their Glidden pottery collection. It's not just admired on a shelf, but put into service for a wonderful party.........I'm so inspired.........Jolene
