I spent this past week in Florida, part of the week for work and a few days visiting relatives. The one thing I didn't do was thrift shop. I took a real vacation away from the finding, researching, photographing and listing....not to mention blogging. I still do have a few items to share from my West Virginia trip. I've been expanding my hunt for Georges Briard, so I was excited to find this cheese board with the groovy mushroom design.
I really like vintage items that can be used to decorate your kitchen, and be functional at the same time. With all its colors and varying designs this piece would be a great inspiration for a kitchen makeover.
I can't believe my luck finding this set of Pyrex at the Goodwill store. I love the pastel colors.
Irene practically lives at the thrift stores, but she's being more selective about what she buys these days. We have so much inventory already, but there are certain items we just can't pass-up. Needlepoints are one of the items I usually buy, but this week Irene found these two pictures. They are both quite large and will be great made into pillows.
She also found this cool patchwork tablecloth with the orange pom-pom trim and this crazy Pyrex pitcher. Both of these would definitely qualify as our most "Groovy Finds" for the Week!...........................Jolene
